ACTIVATE at AFL Max

Your school is registered to attend our high-energy youth event, ACTIVATE!

Monday 18 September 2023.

This year, we’re helping 1 million Australian children learn how to embrace their bodies. By creating change in the environments where they live, learn and play, we can achieve better mental and physical health outcomes for our young people - setting them up for a lifetime free of judgement and shame about their bodies.

Here’s your checklist for the event:

  • Have you completed your talent release forms for AFL Max? You can send them back via email to courtney@aflmax.com.au as soon as you have them ready, or you can bring them along on the day

  • Have you let claire@theembracecollective.org know if you’re bringing any kids or teachers with hearing impairment?

  • Remember to get the kids to pack a snack for the morning and afternoon - lots of running around = hungry kids! There will be a spot that they can leave bags and drinks bottles (but there won’t be an allocated snack break)

  • Have you organised your transport to and from the event?

  • Are you ready for the best adventure EVER?
